Join us for a weekend of sun, sea and celebration on the Greek island of Hydra

20 – 22 August, 2027

Maddie & Andreas

It all started in a Copenhagen dorm in 2018. What was meant to be a few months of exchange turned into eight years of building a life together across Sydney and Copenhagen.

We can’t wait to celebrate our next chapter with the people who mean the most to us.

Getting There

1

Fly into Athens

Then a taxi or metro to Piraeus Port.

2

Take the ferry

From Piraeus Port to Hydra, about 1–2 hours.

3

Arrive on Hydra

No cars here. Just donkeys, small boats and winding footpaths.

Where to stay

Hydra is small and walkable, and everything below is a short stroll from the harbour. August is peak season, so we recommend booking early. Here are a few places we love:

Hydroussa Hotel

A 200-year-old sea captain’s mansion. This is where we plan to stay!
